Many local people have ties to Haiti, from family members to volunteers who go to Haiti to give aid. Currently, there are a few people from the area in an island off Haiti volunteering medical services and we have received word that they are ok. Do you have ties to Haiti? Tell us your story. For those without connections to Haiti, how do you feel about the devastation of the country?

Can you imagine the FRENCH ACCUSE US OF HAITI 'OCCUPATION'. If they only showed that much nerve on the battlefield.

I am just so happy that our great leader Barack Housain Obama has just pledged ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS of the taxpayers money to solve the problem. That's the answer to everything! Besides, ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS seems like alot of money, but the American taxpayer is paying ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS every day in interest alone to China to pay for the stimulas program that has helped us all so much and improved our lives and our economy.
I think we should give Haiti FIVE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS. We can always borrow more if we need to.

What do you think?
