Len... I'm a 70% disabled vet. 13 years active duty. Obama would have been an "Ooops Grenade" in any of my units... Along with Biden And Pelosie!
Right on the $$$
Mike, I'll bet you have velcro straps on your shoes... laces would boggle your mind.

Barack Obama is trying to help the less fortunate and that to me makes him a great president. Another reason I like him is because of the simple fact that he is a Democrat. Republicans historically are for the rich and do not want to help anybody but themselves.

Grade: F: I'm retired military. If this were in my outfit, I wouldn't trust him peeling potatoes. It's not only him but all of Congress. In a year when all kinds of programs were cut or spending/increases to benefits were suspended, this Congree elected itself a 4.5 % pay raise as a rider on a passed Bill. Those crumbs get paid enough. But what really bothers me is I had to stay military 20 years to get my pension. In Congress, you do one term (4 years) and you get a pension for life. Let's repeal that one and give pensions only to Congressionals who stay for 20 years working FOR the American people. As far as the war goes. We have a choice that I don't think Americans understand. It's either fight it over there or fight it here on our streets in front of our familes and children. Hello!! Wake up America. The best solution for all of us is to oust every one in Congress and start anew. That includes the Bedowin in the White House.

Wednesday-Friday, the Dow lost 552 points, or 5.2 percent.
Obama’s new tilting at windmills ploy, errr, bad mouthing Wall Street, just blew up my 401(k), not to mention my other investments. Again. Right after they were just about even with the pounding they took a year or so ago. What a stellar job this administration is doing.
About now, I’m thinking if I wanted something screwed up Obama and his Chicago gang will always come through.
If I want something done right, the high school kid down the street who is always looking for work around the neighborhood would be a far better choice. He’s prompt, cleans up after himself, does whatever work we give him with a smile on his face and sincere gratefulness for what he gets paid.
In other words he’s NOT a screw-up like Obama, and the money he gets is earned and gladly paid by me. I’d nominate him to take Obama’s job right about now, he definitely wouldn’t screw it up as badly as this lot of clowns has/is.
One BIG F for Obama.

We all know that in order to get elected, candidates have to make promises that they have little chance of keeping unles Congress backs the same agenda. Pres Obama fell into a sesspool when he was elected and is still trying to pump it out without drowning. We all knew it was a far fetched dream that the war would end immediately; we all knew it was far fetched to think the President and COngress could provide a health care program that would be great for everyone; we all knew and continue to know that it is far fetched to think that a highly overpaid, egotistical group of so-called adults elected to Congress could ever work together for the good of all the citizens of the USA. Pres. Obama is trying and is, in my humble opinion, no better or no worse than any other first year President1

to Pam D-
Scott Brown said he likes what Mass has now- 97% of people have health care, via Romneycare- which Brown supports....so any fwderal plan is not popular.
It will be interesting to see how Brown pans out- he backs Sotomayor, is pro choice, thinks gay marriage is accepted law...so will he fall under McConnell's tutelage, or will he try to win reelection in a presidential year?
There is a lot more to this vote than meets the eye- I am looking forward to the positions he takes and votes he makes.

(2nd Posting)(I guess the first one got lost...)
I think that in order to really be accurate, you have to compare what was promised on the campaign trail vs. what He has actually done. For example, on the trail He Promised Many times to have everything televised on “C-Span”, clearly, a lie. On the other hand, He stated that He would get certain advice from the Unions, SEIU, He did do that… He stated that He would “fundamentally” change America. Well, He’s trying. We now are being run by Chairman Mao enthusiasts; We had an openly Communist Czar for a while (until He spoke just a few too many times….). Obama and Clinton have compared themselves to early 20th century progressives. Along with Reid, they are circumventing our Constitution at every opportunity.
So, for a grade on what He said. B-. We got what the young and ignorant voted for. Along with 12 Trillion dollars of debt and growing exponentially.
A grade on His actual deeds… F--. I believe the New Senator in Massachusetts (Scott Brown) pretty much proves this. And once more, the progressives are going to ignore the majority of Americans, circumvent the Constitution, have More “back room” deals to get done everything They, can to bankrupt this nation. The head honcho of SEIU is Already calling for “Bold Action”.
The progressives are trying to destroy everything this nation once stood for. I Hope it’s not too late.

I would give him a D-. He is snub his nose at the American people. Mass spoke loud and clear last. We do not want a government run health care system. The deal he has struck with the unions and certain state is nothing show of bribery. Time to listen to the will of the people.

In 365 days Obama punted on the economy and reversed the fortunes of the Democrats. He’s misjudged the character of the country in his whole approach.
In the campaign, he said he would change politics as usual. He did change them. It’s now worse than it was.
We now seen the kind of buying off of politicians that We’ve never seen before. It’s politically corrupt and it’s starting at the top.
It’s revolting.
Give him an F-

A likable and charismatic man who tries hard for what he believes in, the President eases American feelings of racial devisivness. Unfortunately his agenda of socialism for us is harmful with the only logical conclusion being failure similar to the old Soviet Union. Yesterday's election of Senator Brown next door proves that Americans have sniffed the reality of it.
Good marks then to the President for effort and sincerity, but very bad marks for championing the wrong agenda.

I'll give Obama a D for accomplishments and a B minus for effort. The biggest disappointment is that he did not live up to his promise to have all of the troops out of Iraq by May 2009 and to make matters worse he sends 30,000 troops to Afghanistan.
He has not delivered on his health care bill and has done little to strengthen the slumping economy. Many are still out of work and what has he done for education? I don't think going to Hawaii for vacation is the right thing to do since many of us working folks, including myself can afford to even take a vacation.
Thanks Obama, you sold me on false promises but I won't make the same mistake twice. We gave you the majority in both the House and Senate and you and your fellow Democrats have done nothing. I think the election results in MA send a clear message of our dissatisfaction with your performance.

As for a grade, it depends on how you look at His agenda. He said He was going to fundamentaly change America. Well, He Did! 12 Trillion $$$ of debt and climbing. So, He gets an "A" for completeing that devastaitng promise. But, due to the damages WE incurred, He gets an "F--". I know the local socialists will probably think Me a Racist (LOL) but facts are facts. He has done All He can to destroy All that was once Great about America. Our grandchildren and beyond will be paying for Hhis Presidency throughout the rest of Their lives.
I Think the "F--" stands.
